It’s been over 100 here for almost 2 weeks straight. Although a forest fire brought the temp down once (from the smoke) and we did have a thunderstorm one night. Although it was so loud it actually shook the house AND OUR BED. I was bug eyed from that!

So I hear you sister. I don’t love the heat, but I do like ripe tomatoes.

I’m in SE Texas, and we’re having one of our hottest summer (also drought-like conditions). It’s usally 100 during the day and super humid! Maybe I should move to Michigan._

We here in western WA state are having your summer, and you seem to be having ours. I’m almost in tears as I type this dreading another day in the upper 90′s we’ve had a week and a half of 100 degree weather, and like most people here, don’t have air conditioning. “I want to move to MI for the summer.”
I’m totally with you on the moaning and complaining, but thankfully I’ve only broken down in tears once.
I’m heading for mom and dad’s basement and I’m hibernating til fall

I read this article and thought of you. I remember that you mentioned special difficulty at the dentist. Are you a redhead? Notice that near the end it states that some people who are not redheads carry the gene also. Anyway, I thought it was worth sharing.
