Welcome to my home on the web where I enjoy helping others find the resources and information they need! My name is Sallie and I write about all things education, parenting, home, and faith. Please subscribe and join our community that gathers here!
I’m a former elementary school teacher and InterVarsity campus staff member who specialized in ministry to sorority women. I now spend my time as a wife, mom, writer, and homeschooler.
David and I met online via AOL back in the days when no one knew anyone who had married someone they met online. We met and married in eight months to the shock of many. Sixteen years later we’re still best friends and happily married.
Caroline is six and a half years old and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach her about the exciting world of reading, history, science, nature and everything else!
I’ve taught in a variety of schools including private, Classical Christian, and charter. My own educational philosophies aligns most closely with Charlotte Mason. Caroline’s educational philosophy is probably unschooling so we’re in for some really fun times ahead!
