I’m a former elementary school teacher and InterVarsity campus staff member who specialized in ministry to sorority women. I now spend my time as a wife, mom, curriculum developer, writer/editor, and home educator.
David and I met online via AOL back in the days when no one knew anyone who had married someone they met online. We met and married in eight months to the shock of many. Sixteen years later we’re still best friends and happily married.
Caroline is seven years old and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach her about the exciting world of reading, history, science, nature and everything else!
I’ve taught in a variety of schools including private, Classical Christian, and charter. My educational philosophy had evolved a great deal, especially since discovering I have a spirited daughter who is a right brained learner. Our approach would be some form of organized, interest-led unschooling.
